Narrative Website Examples

Examples of narrative websites:

http://ao.com/life/kitchen/kitchen-tips/wasteless/

http://wildnatureinkazan.ru

http://www.sbs.com.au/theboat/

These sites use scroll effects effectively. One thing that viewing these sites has made me consider is different scrolling directions. This is something I’m going to look into in the next few weeks. The AO website in particular is something that I believe I could replicate. The implementation of the scroll effects are simple but very effective. The Akita site is beautiful and runs really well but I believe this may be too complex for me to replicate something similar.

Time Management

Time management isn’t my strongsuit. It is however, crucial if I am to execute this project to the best of my ability. Luckily this term Scholr has been introduced by the tutors, because of this I don’t need to worry so much about not doing enough work each week as I will know how much I’ve progressed based on what tasks I have yet to complete. Being able to manage my work in this checklist format is really helpful to me, as frankly I’m terrible at motivating myself and this will really help in doing it for me.
